Directions

If you are driving to the wedding, directions from the New York State Thruway (Interstate 87) are as follows:

Take Exit 18, New Paltz. Pass through the toll plaza to the traffic light. Turn left onto Route 299 (Main Street). Proceed through the Village of New Paltz. When you get to the bottom of the hill at a traffic light (Mobil on your right) turn right onto Route 32 heading North. Continue on 32 for approximately 6 miles and over two metal bridges. After going over the second metal bridge, at the light (Stewart's on your left) turn left onto Route 213 heading West. Follow 213 into High Falls and at the traffic light, turn right onto Lucas Avenue (Route 1). Fairview Avenue will be on the right. Turn onto Fairview and follow the signs for parking.

Air

High Falls, New York is located in Ulster County, in the heart of the Hudson River Valley. It is within equal distance (2 hours) of New York City area airports (http://www.panynj.gov/aviation/jfkframe.HTM) and Albany International Airport (http://www.albanyairport.com). Stewart International Airport (http://www.swfny.com) in Newburgh, NY is located just 35 minutes from High Falls.

Bus and Train Travel

Bus service is available on Adirondack Trailways to the New Paltz and Rosendale Bus Stations. Service departs from Port Authority in NYC, Albany Trailways terminal (360 Broadway), Route 17 in Ridgewood, NJ and locations in southern New York and Long Island. Trailways can be reached at 800-858-8555 and online at http://www.trailwaysny.com.

Train service is available via Metro North and Amtrak trains to the Poughkeepsie Train Station, approximately 45 minutes away from High Falls. From New York City, Metro North leaves from Grand Central and Amtrak leaves from Pennsylvania Station.
